Women’s Spaces Radio Show with host Elaine B. Holtz and guests Shekeyna Black on SOFA’s Winter Blast and Jennifer Sullivan on the Green Party USA Women’s Caucus,  recorded on 11/12/18, has been uploaded to the web archives. The show was recorded, broadcast and streamed over Radio KBBF 89.1 FM in the NorthBay on Monday 11/12/18 and repeat broadcast and streamed over Radio KPCA 103.3 FM in Petaluma on Tuesday 11/13/18.

1. Shekeyna Black updates us with Peace & Justice Center of Sonoma County new and upcoming events, especially the Winter Blast, which the Center is sponsoring along with SOFA.  SOFA is the arts neighborhood in Santa Rosa, ,with approximately 40 artist studios, some galleries, small and locally owned shops and great places to eat. At 6 PM and 8PM the SOFA parade will occur, so come and see fantastic sofa’s geared up for the Winter Blast parade.

About our Guest: Shekeyna Black has been the Center Coordinator of the Peace & Justice Center of Sonoma County for 3 years. She is CEO of Miracle Production that produces bands, concerts, festivals and events and Director of Entertainment for the publication, Upbeat Times. She is the proud mother to four adult kids.

 2.  Jennifer Sullivan shares her path to and in politics.  She talks about the role of women in the Green Party its Women’s Caucus.

About our Guest: Jennifer Sullivan is a lifelong feminist activist and currently is the delegate to the Green Party of the United States for the Women’s Caucus. Born in the Chicago area and currently living in Florida she has traveled to four continents and all but four states of our United States. She was able to see the effects of climate change in African countries and Alaska; she experienced people’s politics in Cuba, Venezuela and Oaxaca and was amazed at the rail system in Europe. Jennifer has hosted two seasons of a broadcast TV show in Tampa called, “On the Table With the Green Party,” and a radio debate show called, “The Fairness Doctrine on Tampa’s WMNF FM.”  he has served as a national delegate for the Green party of Florida and also a state co-chair. She is currently organizing a 2019 national lobby to get public funding only for all elections.
