Guest 1:  Alicia Sanchez reflects on Radio KBBF’s role in the community, especially with the killing of 13-year old Andy Lopez by a Sheriff deputy.  The new studio came on line this month and promises to be conducive to even more commnunity involvement.

Guest :  Wendy Krupnick discusses her work at The Environmental Center of Sonoma County, a project of the Sonoma County Conservation Council. It is operated jointly with the Sierra Club’s Redwood Chapter, Sonoma Group, mainly by volunteers.

Wendy announces the 6th Annual Sonoma County Environmental Awards, for which the Nominations (open to the General Public) close January 25,2015 at midnight; balloting for SCCC members opens soon afterward and closes February 15. The Awards will be announced at the March 15 Awards Dinner. Please tell your friends and associates about the award program and dinner.

Guest 2.  Penney Rosenwasser, discusses her new book, Hope into Justice – Jewish Women Choosing Justice Despite Our Fears.  Penney encourages meetings to talk out those fears that arise out of the history of growing up Jewish in the USA.  This would allow less reactive and more conscious social justice activism.
